Another hands-on review of the Asus Eee Note EA-800

The very British folks over here have another review of the tablet device I keep posting about.  You can tell they're British because they use use £ and charming phrases like "in-built" when they mean 'built in'.

From this review, I learned two things: The device is not an iPad, or a Kindle.  Wait... I knew that already.  The reviews so far universally have two flaws: Still no mention of the desktop software the thing integrates with, and no images of actual note taking on the device.  The first issue is easy to explain because the PC software probably doesn't exist in English yet.  The lack of writing examples is confusing  - every screen example looks like a grade-schooler scribbling with a crayon!  Either the device isn't capable of capturing handwriting well, tech reviewers have atrocious penmanship, or the key function of this device has consistently been overlooked as part of the review process.  At this point I'd be willing to say each scenario is equally likely.
